M. Sc. (Econ.) Sari Tollet named as our new Sales and Marketing Director.

Tollet is responsible for managing and developing NTC’s sales and marketing team’s know-how and internationalisation. She is a member of our management team and is in charge of our domestic activities as well as launching our operations abroad. First new market areas are Germany, Spain, Great-Britain and Sweden.

Tollet has extensive experience in sales and marketing management positions in Finland and abroad. Since 1991, she has worked e.g. as Product Development Manager at Telecom Finland, she has held challenging sales and marketing managing positions at Nokia Mobile Phones and worked as a Marketing Director at Suunto. In addition, Tollet has experience in managing start-up companies and entrepreneurship.

Nordic Telecom has signed a co-operation agreement with the Finnish First Stop chain

Nordic Telecom has signed a co-operation agreement with the Finnish First Stop chain, in June 2017. ”We are delighted to announce that First Stop, a strong international tyres chain, has chosen our Smart Callback solution to strengthen their customer service. Finland is also the first First Stop country to use Smart Callback”, comments CEO Jarkko Ruuskanen of Nordic Telecom.

First Stop is a pan-European network of tyre service providers. The network was established in 1994 by Bridgestone. At present, First Stop has 2,000 service centers in 25 countries across Europe.

The First Stop service chain was launched in Finland 1998, now the chain includes 56 independent entrepreneurs who sell Bridgestone, Firestone and Dayton tyres and other well known brands. In addition to tyres, more than a half of the local service centres also offer a wide range of other car repair services.

Nordic Telecom develops and maintains a call management platform to save unanswered telephone calls. The telephone traffic can be easily followed, analyzed and measured. The unanswered calls are managed, which enables better customer experience and thus new potential revenues. The service is independent in terms of technology, platform and operators, and it can be integrated into customers’ own telephone systems.
